What this site collects, and what we do with it.

Last updated: July 16, 2026.

Easy Call Tech runs this website to help people find local computer and business help. This page covers what the site collects and what we do with it. If you have a question about privacy, email [email protected].

The short version

  • We use analytics to see how the site is used — pages viewed, links clicked, and recordings of how visitors move through a page. Anything you type is hidden.
  • The contact form sends us your name, phone or email, and message, so we can reply.
  • We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
  • You can switch analytics off with a tracker blocker or your browser settings. The phone number works either way.

What do you collect, and why?

Everything below except the contact form is tied to a random visitor ID, not your name.

What we collect Why
Pages you view, links and buttons you click, your device and browser, the site you arrived from, and an approximate location from your IP address To see which pages help and where visitors get stuck, so we can improve the site
Recordings that replay how a visit moved through a page — clicks, scrolling, and navigation, with anything you type hidden To spot confusing spots that the numbers alone would miss
Your name, phone or email, and message, when you use the contact form To read your message and reply to you

Do you record my screen?

We use session recordings that replay how visitors move through a page — clicks, scrolling, and navigation. Anything you type into a form is hidden, so your name, message, and details are never in a recording.

Do you sell my information?

No. We don’t sell it or share it for advertising. The only outside services that touch it are the ones listed below, and only so the site works.

Which tools touch my data?

Tool What it does
PostHog — privacy policy Traffic analytics and session recordings
Cloudflare Hosts the site and processes standard request information, like IP addresses, to serve and protect it
A messaging service Delivers your contact-form message to us

This list can change as our tools change, and we’ll keep it current.

What about cookies?

PostHog stores a small amount of data in your browser — cookies and local storage — to recognize return visits and group activity into sessions. Clearing your browser data removes it.

How do I turn it off?

Analytics runs in your browser, so a tracker or ad blocker, or your browser’s privacy settings, will stop it. None of it is required to use the site, and the phone number works the same either way. If you’ve sent us a message and want it deleted, ask and we’ll take care of it.

How long do you keep it?

We keep contact messages as long as we need them to help you, then remove them. Analytics data is held by PostHog under their standard retention.

Is the site meant for children?

No. It’s meant for adults arranging tech help. The site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

What if this page changes?

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
